I bought this machine in February 2009 instead of 2 HP and Compaq laptops, I killed. (still had my taxes) Fine. I have not had any problems or install, if not for the search of all my CDs to my old programs.
The screen is bright, to keep the battery for a while '. Harman Kardon speakers are beautiful, one of the reasons I bought this model. You can also watch a movie and feeling.
Another reason that I have this machine was the fact that separate ATI Mobility Radeon HD graphics card and Intel Core 2 Duo. I did not mean that a card reader integrated. It runs all my programs without problems. I rip my collection of CDs and DVD-ROM makes little attention. The 4 GB of SDRAM, 400 GB hard drive are also great features for the money, especially compared to prices of Sony.
So far I am very happy with this Toshiba Satellite A355-S6935.
I bought a beautiful new tote bag to my laptop which is great and fits well.

I have this little machine, because it was out (3 weeks) and is certainly a big surprise. Once again, as many reviewers have noted, is much better than the average netbook Atom. I had the Asus 1005HA Netbook and although this may be more convenient, along with an attachment, it comes with a smaller screen, lower resolution, no update of Windows 7, not so fast. I believe that Vista works well with the Acer and can not be said for some desktops. Battery life is great (about 6 hours for simple web browsing and word processing) and the system is lightweight, battery-free by stabbing, the keyboard feels very, very thin to make the portability of an important attribute.
